Cabbage with Bacon and Fennel
This dish should serve 4 and takes around 30 minutes to make.

Cooking Time: 15 minutes
Ingredients
1 small firm cabbage3 rahers of bacon chopped
560ml water
1 tablespoon white wine vinegar
salt and pepper
1 teaspoon fennel seeds
Wash, drain and shred the cabbage.
Heat a pan large enough to take all the cabbage. Put the bacon in the pan and fry until the fat begins to run.
Add the shredded cabbage, water, seasoning and fennel seeds.
Cook, uncovered, over a low heat until the cabbage is tender and most of the liquid has evaporated.
