Sweet and Sour Cabbage
This dish should serve 4 and takes around 33 minutes to make.

Cooking Time: 13 minutes
Ingredients1 medium head white cabbage about 900g
1 small red chilli pepper
120g light brown sugar
6 tablespoons rice vinegar
2 tablespoons light soy sauce
3 tablespoons oil.
MethodMicrowave cooking times are based on a 700 watt microwave oven. Cut cabbage into 1.25cm slices, discarding the core. Cut the chilli pepper into short thin strips, discarding the seeds. Mix all ingredients together except the oil. Pour the oil into a large bowl and heat for 2 minutes on high. Add the cabbage mixtuure and cover the bowl with pierced cling film. Cook on high for 9-11 minutes. Allow to cool in the bowl, stirring frequently. When cold refrigerate until serving.
