Cabbage with Caraway
This dish should serve 4 and takes around 12 minutes to make.
Preparation Time: 5 minutes
Cooking Time: 7 minutes
Ingredients
450 green cabbage4 tablespoons water
sea salt
30g low fat spread
2 tablespoons caraway seeds
freshly ground black pepper.
Microwave cooking times are based on a 700 watt microwave oven.
Finely shread the cabbage and place in a roasting bag with the sea salt and water.
Tie loosely and cook on high for 5-6 minutes until cooked but still slightly crisp. Drain well.
Place the low fat spread in a large bowl and cook on high for 1 minute or until melted.
Add the caraway seeds and pepper and stir well. Add the cooked cabbage and toss. Serve garnished with extra caraway seeds if desired.
